Live With Honor

“Live with Honor, Serve with Pride”

Live with Honor was initially a Metal Gear Online clan that was created over 15 years ago by S.Miller on the PS3. Constantly called Captain since its inception, she then took the name Captain Samantha (Sam) Miller as popularity for her group grew.

Sam’s objectives in creating Live With Honor, or LWH as it has been deemed by clan members, was to provide an environment where people of all ages can enjoy the game without the usual conflicts that are found in a number of online games. To do this she located a few other like-minded individuals and began hosting games in Metal Gear Online.

Sam’s room, dubbed “Miller Time” had rules of conduct and behaviors that were to be followed ensuring the room was a place where players can relax and enjoy the gameplay and practice core mechanics.

Because of her insistence of rules within her room, and through careful consideration Sam founded her clan and instigated those same standards in its creation. The major item that Sam demands from her clan is respect for other players, no cheating and good sportsmanship. Herself and trusted leaders made an effort to help rookie players understand core concepts as well as offered team building philosophies in her lobbies. Soon word spread and an influx of players soon came to join.

Live With Honor expanded out of MGO soon after and over the years have since spread across a variety of games. Sam now referred to as The Boss ensures the core ideologies are still upheld by her senior members to teach the new recruits and continue the mission. LWH offers light role playing within the clan itself as well as in many of the games we play. An example would be the job roles in our LWH Red Dead Posse. Acquiring new ranks rely on one’s dedication to the values, being active within the group, as well as showing honor in life outside of games. The Boss is a huge advocate for paying it forward and is eager to hear of the members stories in spreading honor in their daily lives.

LWH is steadfast in its conviction of honor but that does not mean one is limited in only being an LWH member. An individual may be associated with other clans but is to be expected to be a decent person out and about. There are no dress codes or mandatory schedules to stress over. All communications are listed on the clans Discord and in the PlayStation chats. We like to keep things simple.

As of October 1st, 2024, Live With Honor is open for recruitment. If you feel like you have been searching for a gaming space that is built off of respect and fair play then LWH is open to you.
